Premier League Preseason Friendlies 2026-27: Every Fixture, Kick-Off Time and Summer Tour Date

The countdown to the 2026-27 Premier League season is well and truly on. With the new campaign kicking off on 21st August, clubs across all 20 Premier League preseason friendlies 2026-27 fixtures have now begun confirming their summer schedules — and there is plenty to get excited about.

Premier League Preseason Friendlies 2026-27: The Full Fixture List by Club

Arsenal open their summer with a glamour tie against Real Betis in Dublin on 5th August (7.30pm BST), before heading to Cardiff for the Community Shield against Manchester City on 16th August (3pm BST). Meanwhile, Aston Villa face a packed tour that includes a mouthwatering clash with Bayern Munich in Hong Kong on 7th August (1pm BST), bookended by local warmup games against Walsall on 21st and 25th July.

Chelsea embark on arguably the most ambitious tour of the lot — an Asian and Australian swing that takes in Western Sydney Wanderers (28th July, 10.45am BST), a Sydney derby against Tottenham Hotspur (1st August, 10.45am BST), Juventus in Hong Kong (5th August, 12.30pm BST), AC Milan in Jakarta (8th August, 1pm BST), and Johor Darul Ta’zim in Johor (11th August, 1pm BST). That is five games across three countries in a fortnight. Extraordinary.

Manchester United, meanwhile, head to Scandinavia for a Nordic tour — taking on Wrexham in Helsinki on 18th July (5pm BST) and Rosenborg in Trondheim on 24th July (5pm BST) — before big European tests against Atlético Madrid in Stockholm (1st August, 2pm BST) and Paris Saint-Germain in Gothenburg (8th August, 4pm BST). They then face Leeds United in Dublin on 12th August (7.30pm BST) and AC Milan in Wroclaw on 15th August.

Leeds United head Stateside for their summer programme, meeting Wrexham in Tampa on 25th July (12.30am BST), Sunderland in New Jersey on 30th July (12.30am BST), and Liverpool in Chicago on 2nd August (9pm BST). Liverpool run a similarly transatlantic schedule, facing Sunderland in Nashville (25th July, 11pm BST) and Wrexham in New York (29th July, 12.30am BST) before that Chicago showdown with Leeds. Everton put together a thorough domestic warm-up run — Dundee (18th July), Bolton (25th July), and Stoke (28th July) — before a Stuttgart test on 8th August (4pm BST) and a pre-season showdown with Newcastle United in Edinburgh on 12th August (5.15pm BST). Sunderland, newly promoted and hungry to prove a point, take on Liverpool, Leeds, and Wrexham on their US tour before a double-header against RC Lens on 8th August and a home game against Stade Rennais on 15th August (3pm BST).

Ipswich keep things more measured, with a home game against Osasuna in Colchester (29th July, 7.45pm BST), double fixtures at Oxford and Wycombe on 1st August, and a final warmup against Rayo Vallecano on 8th August (3pm BST). Coventry face Northampton on 18th July (2pm BST), while Brentford have confirmed a trip to Stade Rennais on 8th August (5pm BST) and a home date with Eintracht Frankfurt on 15th August. Key Dates for the 2026-27 Season Ahead

Beyond preseason, the season’s major milestones are already locked in. The Champions League league phase draw takes place on 27th August, with the group stage running through to 27th January. The knockout phase begins on 16th February, the Carabao Cup final lands on 21st March, and the FA Cup final follows on 22nd May. The Premier League season wraps up on 30th May, with the Champions League final at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium in Madrid on 5th June rounding off the campaign in style.

Bournemouth, Brighton, Crystal Palace, Fulham, Hull City, Nottingham Forest, and Newcastle United (beyond the Edinburgh fixture) are yet to confirm their preseason plans — so expect further announcements in the coming weeks. The build-up is already crackling. Summer is here.
